Terms of Service
Skyrim Underground and Skyrim Platform 2 are an independently operated, free-to-access multiplayer software for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Bethesda Game Studios, ZeniMax Media, Microsoft, or their respective affiliates.
By accessing or participating in Skyrim Underground, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Skyrim Underground Community Rules.
1. Community Rules
All members in our community are expected to follow these 5 community rules.
1. Don't antagonize other players out of character. You are expected to handle disagreements maturely and privately where possible. Players who purposefully try to upset others will be removed from the community and their access to Skyrim Underground servers revoked.
2. Never break character in game, including in response to technical glitches. Use your imagination to keep it In-Character. Metagaming, powergaming, godmodding, bleeding/mixing, or any other behavior that breaks the immersion of fellow players is forbidden.
3. All characters must fit the setting and be lore accurate. Characters must be original and cannot share names of popular figures or have joke/gag names (i.e. John Skyrim, Ulfric Stormcloak, Luke Skywalker, Arya Stark, Mike Hunt, Ben Dover, etc). Exceptions can be made if there is a valid reason.
4. Illegal content is strictly forbidden on Skyrim Underground, and violators may be reported to their local authorities based on severity. This also includes content that goes against the TOS and EULAs of Discord, Bethesda, Zenimax, Microsoft, and Iceline Servers.
5. Skyrim Underground is an adult community. By accessing or participating in the Skyrim Underground Community, you confirm that you are of at least 18 years of age and a legal adult by your local laws.
2. Server Access and Bans
Skyrim Underground does not guarantee that access to the server will always be available.
Skyrim Underground reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate a user's access to the server or community at any time for violations of these Terms, the Community Rules, abuse of the service, security concerns, or other conduct that staff reasonably determine to be harmful to the community or server.
Skyrim Underground may use technical measures, including IP addresses, device or hardware identifiers, Discord identifiers, and other relevant information, to enforce bans and prevent attempts to circumvent them, as described in the Skyrim Underground Privacy Policy.
3. Donations
Skyrim Underground may accept voluntary donations through Patreon or other payment platforms to help cover server, hosting, infrastructure, and development costs.
Donations do not purchase ownership of Skyrim Underground, its software, its community, or any intellectual property belonging to Bethesda or other third parties.
Donations do not guarantee permanent server access, server availability, or any particular future feature.
Any refunds are subject to the applicable policies of the payment provider and any rights granted to you under applicable law.
4. Warranty
Skyrim Underground is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the server will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available indefinitely. Server data, characters, progress, items, or other information may be lost due to technical failures, maintenance, security incidents, or other circumstances.
5. Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Skyrim Underground at any time.
We may also update these Terms and the Community Rules when reasonably necessary. The current version will be made available through the official Skyrim Underground community channels on Discord.
6. Privacy
Information collected through your use of Skyrim Underground is handled according to the Skyrim Underground Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we retain it, and the rights available to you under applicable privacy laws.

3. Legal Basis for Processing
Where the GDPR applies, Skyrim Underground processes personal data only where a lawful basis exists under applicable data-protection law.
Depending on the particular processing activity, this may include:
- Performance of a contract: processing necessary to provide the Skyrim Underground server and associated functionality;
- Legitimate interests: server security, abuse prevention, ban enforcement, fraud or ban-evasion prevention, and maintaining the integrity of the service; and
- Legal obligations: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Where GDPR or other applicable privacy law grants you these rights, you may request:
- Access to personal data we hold about you;
- Correction of inaccurate information;
- Deletion of personal information;

- Objection to certain processing;
- Data portability, where applicable; and
